"I am an ultra runner with 10 years' experience in sport. I have competed in more than 30 standard marathons with a personal best of sub 3h30. I have a personal best of sub 5hrs in the Two Oceans Ultra marathon and sub 9hrs in the Comerades.

I do cross-training and in respect of preparation average 80km per week. The training is strenuous and the risk of injury always in the back of your mind.

"I am 64 years old and have been doing sport actively for most my life. Some of my achievements include 2 silver Comerades medals and 21 completed Cape Argus cycle tours, with a personal best of 3h06 for the latter. I train regularly with varying workouts.

I used the Stick during my last 2 months of training for the Argus 2007 and have found it useful in the following ways: Getting rid of lactic acid after training sessions, treating sore muscles, treating niggling injuries as well as preventative treatment on tired muscles.
